Abuja Photo Festival

The experts at SmartEdge won the annual grant by APF to tell the story of young boys who escaped the Boko Haram rampage.

These boys have found refuge in the slums of Lagos, working as scrap merchants, truck pushers and every other menial jobs they could find. they have come to accept the reality of this life, over going back to their homes where they have the options of either joining the militants or losing their lives and properties.

Our visual story was showcased at the Abuja Photo Festival, receiving many accolades.
